Interserve is opening doors for homeless people this Christmas

15 Dec 2004

A donation to the Crisis At Christmas Challenge has been made which was publicised in an advert in the FT and ft.com on the 6th December 2004.

In addition to this donation money received from the divisions in lieu of Christmas cards will be split between the charities shortlisted last year when we chose Macmillan as our nominated charity - they are The Samaritans, Barnardos, The Anthony Nolan Trust and Riding for the Disabled.

The donation to Crisis via the Christmas Card Challenge enables the national homeless charity to open doors for homeless people across the UK into education, training, housing and employment. Last year the campaign raised over £550,000 for homeless people throughout the UK and it is hoped that this year's campaign will result in even more.

Supporting Crisis and our other shortlisted charities enables the Christmas card budget to be donated to good causes and to demonstrate our commitment to the community. To view the FT advert go to http://www.crisis.org.uk/fund/ccc2004ad.php
