Millennium Gallery, Sheffield
for Sheffield City Council
This new gallery represented a major phase of Sheffield's "Heart of the City" redevelopment initiative. The building faces Hallam Square, in the very heart of the city centre. It is naturally-lit through a vaulted roof and is designed as a highly flexible space to accommodate a variety of exhibitions.
The Millennium Gallery is home to a semi-permanent display from the Victoria & Albert, as well as the Hawley Collection of Sheffield hand tools and the Ruskin Collection.
