NHS ProCure 21

We are a national framework Principal Supply Chain Partner with NHS Estates under this innovative partnering programme.

Appointment to the framework involved a rigorous selection process with a strong focus on our approach to partnering, supply chain management and adding value through value management, value engineering and innovation.

We had already won a place on the original pilot framework, where we were awarded the first two projects released under the programme - the development of Withington Community Hospital for South Manchester Primary Care Trust and a strategic redevelopment for St Helens & Knowsley NHS Hospital Trust.

Further successes have followed, including the Emergency Centre at Sandwell General Hospital, an Outpatient Mental Health Centre at Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital, ward refurbishment in Blackpool, an EMI Unit in Dudley, refurbishment of primary care clinics in Wigan and DTC Leighton, a strategic partnership with the Countess of Chester Hospital ......  and we were awarded the first contract under the national roll-out at Friarage Hospital, Northallerton.  More awards have followed.

The quality of the supply chain and the relationships within it are fundamental to the effective delivery of these projects. Interserve companies and supply-chain partners AEDAS, Amec Building Services, Arup, Capita Property, Fitzpatrick, Healthcare Environments, HLM Design and Strategic Healthcare Planning are working closely with the Trusts and leading academics to highlight critical value-management issues, achieve value-for-money solutions and functionality. Customer focus is paramount.

The key aim of this strategic alliance is to provide, through an integrated approach with the NHS, truly matchless performance levels.  Each member of this supply chain is also a stakeholder within the Interserve Health Management Organisation.

Our team's success has been recognised by various awards, including the Building Better Healthcare ProCure21 Award and a shortlisting in the 2006 Building Awards for Integrated Supply Chain Team of the Year.
