Interserve Plc today provides an update on first-half trading in advance of announcing interim results on 8 September 2004.

Group trading is in line with expectations, based on encouraging growth in each of the four principal operating divisions.  Facilities Services, Project Services and Industrial Services have shown consistent progress throughout the first half of the year and in Equipment Services trading has picked up well during the second quarter reflecting, in part, growing activity levels in the Far East and in the UK.
