Interserve Plc Board Appointments

11 Jan 2008

Interserve Plc, the services, maintenance and building group, has appointed two new executive directors to its Board. These are internal appointments involving the managing directors of two of Interserve's divisions.

Bruce Melizan is Managing Director of Interserve Facilities Management. He joined the group in 2003 to run the PFI Investments division before being appointed to his current position in 2006. Bruce has played a key role in the integration of the MacLellan business into Interserve's operations following its acquisition in 2006. He is 40.

Steven Dance joined Interserve from ERICO in 2004 to take over leadership of the Equipment Services division. He has since instigated a number of major operational changes and has overseen a significant increase in divisional earnings. He is 50.

Norman Blackwell (Lord Blackwell), Chairman, said, "Steve and Bruce have made valuable contributions to the development of Interserve and these appointments will allow the Group to benefit further from their abilities. I welcome them to the Board and look forward to working with them in their new roles."

The Board of Interserve Plc now comprises five executive directors and five non-executive directors including the Chairman. There is no information to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13R in respect of either Mr Dance or Mr Melizan.
