Plc > Media > News > Interserve Board Appointments Interserve Board Appointments 14 Dec 2001 Interserve Plc is pleased to announce that with effect from 1 January 2002 Stewart Hagerty, Adrian Ringrose and John Vyse have been appointed to the Board of Interserve Plc. Stewart, who has been with the Group for some four years, is responsible for the successful development of our Industrial Support Services business and will continue to have particular responsibility for the further growth of this important activity, which operates mainly in the petro-chemical, pharmaceutical and energy sectors. He is 43 years of age and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Adrian has been with the Group for four years and was recently appointed to take full operational control of the Groups' facilities management activities, for which he will continue to take particular responsibility. He is 34 years of age and has a degree in politics. John, who has been with the Group for some eight years, has overseen the successful transformation of Construction into a Project Services business focussing on PFI schemes, framework agreements, partnering and maintenance contracts. Project Services will continue to be his particular area of responsibility. He is 53 years of age, has a degree in building and is a Chartered Engineer. Clive Groom, who joined the Board following the acquisition of Building & Property, will henceforth concentrate on developing the Group's interests in business process outsourcing and PFI/PPP schemes both of which are included as key features of our strategy for growth. Graham Wentzell has given the Board notice of his retirement on 30 June 2002 following his 59th birthday. He has given excellent service to the Group for over 40 years and at the time of his retirement will have served on the Board for nearly seven years.
