Fabrication Facility Opened for Business

12 Dec 2007

The official unveiling of Interserve’s new mechanical and fabrication facility in Ellesmere Port took place on Monday 10th December. Councillor Ted Lloyd conducted the opening ceremony, for both Interserve clients and employees.

The new facility occupies over 88,000ft², enabling Interserve to deliver cost effective fabrication solutions to the highest standards of safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Interserve utilises over 50 years of experience and expertise, with highly skilled teams trained in the latest fabrication, cutting and welding techniques. This modern space is cleverly arranged for the segregation of intelligent metals, whilst simultaneously the premises offer the flexibility to expand into adjacent units as workloads increase.

Councillor Ted Lloyd said, “I am proud to welcome Interserve to the borough of Ellesmere Port & Neston. We all hope that the move will prove successful and can make an impact on our local economy. The creation of new jobs and also the further development of this workforce through additional training is much welcomed in the area.” Ted Lloyd closed the day saying, “It is with great pride that we welcome this business to the Borough.”

Interserve held a prize draw with one attendee winning a luxury Christmas Hamper. Over two hundred and fifty pounds was donated to the Mayor’s Charity Fund, making this a truly successful day for all involved.

“Our Industrial Services team has significant expertise in the area, and this facility will enable us to really offer our clients a top mechanical and fabrication service. We understand not just the financial pressures our clients face in today’s competitive environment, but also the complexity of finding service partners whose standards really mirror their own,” commented Dave Troth, Interim Managing Director, Interserve Industrial Services.
He continued, “Our teams have vast experience of operating with leading manufacturers who have exacting standards in terms of both quality and health and safety. I am delighted that we can now offer this in-house facility, as it will truly benefit our clients within the industry.”
